Waterproof Jacket Sample Approval Checklist

A useful waterproof jacket sample review connects the garment specification to checks that both buyer and factory can repeat. Use the following checklist when preparing a project with KAIDA.

1. Record the material combination

List the shell composition, laminate or coating, lining, tape and trims against the sample version. Record colour references and fabric codes where available. A change of fabric or inner surface can require a fresh tape-compatibility review.

2. Mark the sealing scope

Use a front-and-back drawing to identify full seam sealing or the specific critical seams required. Include hood junctions, pocket corners, sleeve joins and zipper interfaces. Review access and overlaps at intersections rather than accepting a general statement that the jacket is taped.

3. Check the finished construction

4. Agree performance evidence

Specify the relevant fabric or finished-garment test, the method, the target and any care or laundering condition before testing. Visual inspection does not establish a waterproof or breathability rating. Record who provides the test report and which material or sample it covers.

5. Keep an approved reference

Collect corrections into one dated revision. Identify the approved sample, measurement chart, material list and artwork version for production. Any later substitution should be reviewed against this approval rather than assumed equivalent.

Send KAIDA the reference images or tech pack, order quantity, size allocation and test requirements to start the sample discussion.
