KAIDA OUTDOOR APPAREL FACTORY
Seam-Taped Waterproof Jacket Manufacturing
Seam sealing is one part of a waterproof outerwear system. KAIDA coordinates material selection, sewing, seam-tape application and quality review for the approved jacket brief.
Start with compatible materials
Confirm the shell or laminate structure, lining, seam tape and intended use. Tape must be suitable for the selected inner surface. Application settings and workmanship are checked on the actual material combination before production.
Review the seam map
A buyer should state whether the brief requires full seam sealing or specified critical seams. Review pocket corners, zipper interfaces, intersections and curved areas through a construction sample. Water-repellent fabric with selected seams taped should not be described as a fully waterproof garment without supporting evidence.
Agree what will be tested
Discuss the waterproof and breathability targets, relevant fabric or garment tests, laundering requirements and acceptance criteria. An equipment list or seam-taping image is not a product certification.
Factory press-station reference; this image alone does not show seam-tape application. Final performance is agreed for each garment and material.
